 Alamosa Road Trip

The Woman’s Citizenship Club in Alamosa has worked for several years to erect a statue dedicated to the sandhill crane. Alamosa is a historic site for the crane's migration.
The event will take place at the Welcome Center at 610 State St. in Alamosa on Saturday, June 28 from 3-5 pm. Presentations and the unveiling will take place close to 3 pm. We will have a terrific celebration after that with music and food.
We would like to invite you to dinner after the ceremony at 6 pm. We have had some trouble securing a place, but we are working on that! We need to know if you plan to attend the dinner and how many of you there will be in your party. Please let me know soon so I have an idea of numbers.
On Sunday 29, we will gather at Ginny Bonds home for brunch at 9 am. Her address is 8229 VanIwaarden Dr. in Alamosa. Please let us know if you plan to come. The Woman’s Citizenship Club will be providing the meal.
We so look forward to having our Club sisters with us on this momentous occasion!
